I am thrilled to share this recent review from the School Library Journal:
"In this latest adventure in the series, Charlie Piechart and his family must find their dog, Watson. Readers join in on the hunt as Charlie interviews family members, builds a timeline, and slowly discovers where the elusive canine might be hiding. With plenty of analysis and creative thinking, Charlie discovers a method to get Watson to the dog groomers just in time. Sadler and Comstock have once again created an informative puzzle for young readers. The story itself is told in a retro, comic-strip style with plenty of emphasis on words or actions that keep the plot moving. The text and vocabulary are clear and simple, with math information aided by the illustrations. The graphics used to show the progressing chronology and how to read a clock are easy to understand for young readers. VERDICT An interactive book that is both visually appealing, fun to read, and an interesting lesson in solving problems."
